The circular black vented metal lens shade, originally included with the Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 (model 11301) This lens hood features a 46mm (E46) threading, making it compatible with any Leica M lens with a 46mm (E46) filter thread size.
This versatile hood is an excellent choice for M lenses without built-in hoods that can accept 46mm filters.

Additionally, this hood provides a convenient solution for retaining a lens hood while using a polarizing filter. Unlike traditional Leica thread-on hoods that block filter from adjustments, this hood can be threaded directly into the filter, allowing full control over the polarizer.
